2. Open asset browser.
Functions: -Browser for
brushes, textures sounds etc.
-Can be used to browse a certain type
of asset when type
text to search object.
3. Data Base View.
Functions:-Entity Library: where you tweak all of brush value and
create entity.
-Prefabs Library: where you create library for prefabs and
where you have your all prefabs folder.
-Vegetation: change category and manage vegetation in
level.
-Particles: edit particles. eg. rain, light, waterfall etc.
-Music: manage music in your level.
-Musiclogic.
-Reverb Presets: tweak parameter..
-SoundMoods.
-GameTokens.
4.Lighting Tool.
Functions: Change time of a day, sun colour, sun direction etc.
5.Time Of Day.
Function: Change time of a
day. Edit parameters. eg.sky, fog, skylight
etc.
6.Track View.
Function: What animator' s
use and what people working on the
cinematic of the game use.
Lecture
Reflection:
The first week's lecture went through some video works from last
year and a lot of cool examples showed how Cryengine 3 works and various effect
this software can create. In addition, got the general information about
this course and I feel very interesting to learn this kind of new knowledge
which is very different from my major interior architecture.
